chooch 14:33 5/10
Antics of the 5 yr old will only worry me at this early stage
*mispy* 14:33 5/10
yay, i have a thread for my little two but i need one for my 7 and 10 yr old
feebes 14:33 5/10

*mispy* 14:36 5/10
well my toddler got new shoes today, £40 ffs, they will prob only last him two months and they look HUGE, how has he got so big? he has been very cute of late, putting himself to bed when tired, how fucking amazing is that? and he sat really nicely yesterday on ds1's lap watching monster inc, it helped that theo had a big bowl of popcorn and rudi kept reaching out and grabbing big handfuls to eat it was soo sweet to see the two of them sat together like that. ds1 can moan about having younger siblings at times, but then i see him sat like that and he was so chuffed to have rudi sat on his lap, and they looked really lovely and content together i wish i had got the camera out now, but its one of those moment that i will have in my head forever iykwim?

Ooh - I was going to post on the toddler thread last night, but didn't cos I couldn't keep my eyes open much longer Anyhoo. Tell me. Is it normal for a 2 year old to completely, utterly and totally ignore what is being asked of / said to them if it is a parent doing the asking / saying? Dh & I are being driven to utter distraction by Gaby at the moment. She just completely blanks us & will not do ANYTHING that she's asked to unless threatened with a toy being taken away / dummies being put in the bin or physically forced to do it. It. Is. Driving. Me. MENTAL!!!
chooch 14:37 5/10
Normal The other day I was dancing around the house in pain and all I could hear was 'Mummy, what have you done? Why did you do that?' ARRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH FUCKING HELL!! MY HAND HURTS!! 'Mummy, what did you say? Why did you say that?'
Roly 14:38 5/10
| I would say it is very normal as Princess seems to be deaf to anything I say to her....however if Paula (the ex childminder) askes her to do something, Princess cannot do it fast enough

Smithy 14:39 5/10
Oh good-o. I shall try to refrain from either strangling the little brat or convincing myself that she has some behavioural problem then and put it down to her just being a little shit
*Queenie* 14:40 5/10
Yes Smithy, DS2 (2 and a bit) is pretty much the same, although he is actually improving a little since he started nursery Mispy, Joey has been doing that a little while now, it's really cute eh? We tend to just tell him it's bedtime and off he trots and tucks himself in, in fact there are times when he has told us he is going to bed, lol He did it today when we had "official visitors" and they were just that such a teeny little dot would go to bed so flawlessly Can Josh join in this thread too? He is at school but only 5yrs

Good idea. I've one at coming up 22 months, who is, I suppose, a toddler, but really is just a baby, so I was never sure which thread....not that it matters, but you know....I've a lot of time on my hands to spend pondering such things.
Roly 17:00 5/10
....so after mood framing meeting with head and class teacher...onto the docs for Red's flu jab......20minutes delay with 4 fractious kids in waiting room........and he is too young so nurse refused to do it, even got GP in to confirm. 3 I was very calm with them but absofuckinglutely fuming with fuckface clueless practice manager When I received the letter, I rang and queried it, receptionist even commneted that he was 17 weeks old. Practice manager apparently checked up and confirmed he could have the flu jab.
purpleminiconvertible 18:15 5/10
Smithy, could be normal, could be her hearing, it's almost glue ear time. What is her reaction if you whisper offers of chocolate from the next room?
arkle 20:05 5/10
what?! can't I go on the toddler thread any more?
daria 21:29 8/10

my baby has a tooth I should feel happy but my baba is slipping away... He is so gorgeous! Daria, I use bepanthen on Ollys bum. Can u get that in Szitzerland?
daria 21:35 8/10
yes I do have bepanthen. I will try this tomorrow thank you I am still waiting for a tooth, but she's drooling for switzerland and maybe the sore bum might me a sign too.
feebes 21:35 8/10
Keep clean (water, not soap), try to keep in the air as much as possible, Sudocrem is good for the first stage of soreness. If it gets worse, I use Metanium, but it seems to be strangely unpopular Calendula cream worked for Pimms' DS ... Weleda.
*manicwelshrabbit* 21:35 8/10
the tooth will soon appear as this is how Olly was!
